Jan Demeyere, Architect and Co-founder of SPEEDWELL, graduated with honors in 1991 from Sint-Lucas Ghent University in Belgium, specializing in urban planning. He brings over 20 years of experience in the international construction and real estate market, with more than 15 years spent in Romania. In 2014, Jan Demeyere partnered with Didier Balcaen to establish SPEEDWELL Real Estate Development, a company dedicated to creating projects that enhance the quality of life in communities. To achieve this goal, Jan is actively involved in every stage of the process, working closely with the in-house architectural team to ensure each building is unique, aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and designed with the community’s needs in mind. Although he designs as an architect, Jan thinks like a developer, a perspective evident in all his successfully delivered projects.
